 Path signal generator
The path signal generator can generate high-power audio output signals, and the receiver receives the audio signals to complete the path detection function.

The path signal generator uses 220V mains power supply, and the output signal voltage and power vary with different loads. If the output terminal is short-circuited, the device will be protected immediately. Path receiver
The panel is equipped with a power button, a volume increase button ( "+"), a volume decrease button ("-"), and a sound outlet. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to complete the power on/off operation, and use "+" and "-" to complete the volume adjustment. The display part uses a semi-circular LED bar to display the current signal strength, and 4 LEDs to indicate the battery level.

Operation and use of the path meter
1. Wiring of signal generator
a) Connect the 220V AC power line;
b) The positive pole of the output is connected to the good phase of the faulty cable or the normal cable, the negative pole of the output is grounded, and the three-phase end of the cable should be open to the ground. If the output signal is weak, short the end of the cable to ground. The wiring diagram is shown below.








 Output signal adjustment

After completing the wiring, turn the output adjustment counterclockwise to the end, turn on the power switch, the power indicator light is on; adjust the output knob to make the indicator head and needle point in the appropriate range. If the cable under test exceeds several kilometers, adjust the output knob to increase the output voltage. During the adjustment process, if the overload indicator is on, you need to adjust the output knob to reduce the output amplitude, and then press the start button to resume work.

2. Receiver Operation and Use
Steps for usage
a. Connect the probe, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn on the receiver.
b. Path search, the line formed by the smallest point heard by the probe perpendicular to the ground is the buried path of the buried cable.
c. If you want to judge the buried depth of the cable, you can place the probe at an angle of 45degrees with the ground on the position of the cable that has been measured, and move outwards perpendicular to the path. When the sound is the smallest, the distance the probe moves is equal to Buried depth of the cable. The above-mentioned operation essentials can refer to the schematic diagram of probe placement in below picture.







That is to say, when detecting the direction of the cable path, the probe and the horizontal plane should always be kept vertical. When the probe is directly above the cable direction, the received sound is relatively the smallest, and the ground position connection with the smallest relative indication is the cable path to be tested. the direction of the location.
In addition, when detecting the buried depth of the cable path, the probe should be perpendicular to the cable and the angle between the probe and the horizontal plane should be 450. When moving the probe to one side, the sound will change from large to small, and then from small to large. Relative indication The vertical distance from the point on the smallest ground to the ground of the cable is the buried depth of the cable there.
