Intergrated Cable sheath fault location testing set
Integrated cable sheath fault testing system is designed based on the Murray bridge principle and can be used to locate breakdown points and defective points with low insulation resistance in various wires and cables.
The high-voltage cable sheath fault tester has an output voltage of 15kV and below, fully meeting the cable sheath withstand voltage test requirements of the Chinese national standard GB50150-2006, including acceptance tests and preventive tests for cable sheaths in cross-linked systems, as well as cable sheath fault location. It can quickly and accurately locate grounding faults and excessive leakage current in 10kV-500kV single-core and three-core high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage cable sheaths. It can also perform 5kV-15kV, 1-minute DC withstand voltage tests on high-density polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride cable sheaths. It is an essential specialized instrument for cable equipment maintenance in 10kV-500kV single-core and three-core high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage cable operating units, ultra-high-voltage cable engineering companies, and various power transmission and transformation engineering companies.
The cable outer sheath fault tester is particularly suitable for:
1. High-resistance breakdown points in cables after installation, especially linear high-resistance breakdown points that are difficult to burn into low resistance, such as linear high-resistance breakdowns in cable joints.
2. Flashover type breakdown points, where the constant current source can maintain the arc after breakdown, allowing a stable current to pass through the bridge, and the bridge has sufficient sensitivity.
3. Defect points that have not yet broken down but have abnormally low resistance, such as insulation defects where the cable resistance is low as detected by a megohmmeter, but does not break down under operating voltage.
