XHGX507 underground cable pipe locator is mainly used for cable fault location, cable identification, cable path and depth measurement. It can complete tasks that could only be accomplished by a few sets of instruments in the past. The underground cable pipe locator is designed based on the electromagnetic induction method and the application of the communication principle.

 

1.The electromagnetic signal is generated by the transmitter, and the signal is transmitted to the underground cable under test through different transmission connection methods.

 

2.After the underground cable induces the electromagnetic signal, an induced current is generated on the cable, and the induced current propagates along the cable to the distance.

 

3.In the process of current propagation, electromagnetic waves are radiated to the ground through the underground cable. When the receiver detects on the ground, the electromagnetic wave signal will be received on the ground above the cable.

 

4.The position, direction and fault of the underground cable can be judged by the change of the received signal strength.

This underground cable pipe locator is mainly composed of transmitter and receiver, with accessories of two clamps, one A-frame and necessary connection wires.

 

Main features

1.This instrument adopts a brand-new cable identification mode, which can test live cables or uncharged cables. And can reliably identify the cable to be tested.

2.This equipment consists of two parts: transmitter and receiver. It is also equipped with corresponding transmitting clamp (for identification of live cable), direct connection (for identification of uncharged cable), receiving clamp and other corresponding components.

3.This equipment is powered by lithium batteries, which can be widely used in live or uncharged construction sites. Greatly convenient for users to test under any circumstances.

4.This equipment uses single-phase DC pulse output, the maximum output current can reach 50A, which can meet the judgment of conventionally laid power cables. Because of adopting the direct current pulsating output, the cable under test can be judged by the direction of current flow and the magnitude of current. Makes reliability greatly improved.

5.This equipment uses the comparison method to determine the cable, and adopts the dual waveform display mode to compare the field test waveform with the calibration waveform in the machine. It can be determined when the agreement is reached, and the recognition accuracy is very high, which is far better than the previous meter indication method.

6.The calibration waveform is automatically stored, and the last calibration waveform and the corresponding adjustment parameters will be automatically recalled every time the device is turned on.

7.This instrument uses two working modes to work, test mode and calibration mode.



8.Both the transmitter and the receiver adopt liquid crystal display, and the menu prompts the operation, which makes the operation easier.

9.When the live cable is identified, the induction transmitting clamp is used to clamp on the cable sheath for electromagnetic coupling output, and the cable power failure test is no longer required, thereby reducing and avoiding the chance of high voltage power failure and improving the power supply efficiency.

10.This equipment also has the function of ordinary cable identification. For cables to be constructed under power failure, the output signal can be directly connected to the cable through a direct connection clamp, which can be identified normally as a conventional live cable identification instrument.

11.All use industrial-grade components, with good anti-interference and high and low temperature performance.

12.The receiver adopts a 3.5-inch high-precision positive display LCD module, which has the characteristics of large field of view and rich display content. Equipped with a backlight, it can display normally in the sun or display the waveform in the dark.

13.This machine has the function of automatically judging the signal to shut down. If there is no signal on the cable, the receiver will automatically shut down within 5 minutes to extend the battery life.

14.Small size, light weight, suitable for portable operation in the field.
