Product Description

The high-voltage pulse generator XHHV540-5TS fully complies with DL/T846-2016 "General Technical Conditions for High Voltage Testing Equipment" and DL/T474-2017 "Implementation Guidelines for Field Insulation Testing". It is mainly used for impulse discharge and withstand voltage tests during low- and high-voltage cable fault testing.

This device is a trolley-type high-end experimental instrument integrating a DC high-voltage source, energy storage capacitor, discharge sphere device, automatic discharge device, and voltage level switching device. This equipment completely solves the problems of ease of use, portability, safety, and reliability of traditional experimental devices.

Features

★ Uniform high-voltage pulse output with stepless adjustable control;

★ Real-time and accurate high-voltage side metering, avoiding unknown safety risks associated with capacitor charge storage;

★ Dual 2.5-level pointer meter display for current and voltage, intuitive, clear, simple, and reliable, providing a clear view of the impulse discharge process;

★ Offers DC, periodic pulse, and single pulse output functions to adapt to different working requirements, adjustable via a knob.

★ During periodic pulse discharge, the discharge interval can be selected in three ranges: 3S, 6S, and 9S, adapting to different application scenarios;

★ Synchronous switching function for three voltage ranges and capacitance, adapting to pulse discharge tests of various voltage levels and fault resistance values, maximizing the utilization of discharge energy;

★ Zero-position start protection function: High-voltage output is prevented from starting unless the device is rotated to the zero position, ensuring safety and reliability;

★ Grounding status detection function: Avoids safety risks associated with poor or ungrounded grounding of personnel/equipment;

★ Over-temperature detection function: Alarms when the internal temperature is too high;

★ Overload protection and recovery function: Prevents internal component burnout caused by overload due to operational errors;

★ Unique high-voltage measurement design and high-power discharge module: Automatically discharges the internal capacitor and test sample charge when the device is stopped;

★ Internally installed high-precision test cable fault sampling waveform sampling module;

★ User-friendly trolley design for easy movement;

Instrument Components:
1. High-voltage pulse generator +TDR main unit: Applies high voltage to the cable under test and outputs a high-energy pulse signal;

2. High-voltage output line (5 meters): Connects the high-voltage output terminal of the main unit to the core of the cable under test;

3. Ground wire (5 meters): Connects the sampling ground, high-voltage ground, and discharge rod to the earth;

4. Power cord (2.5 meters): The instrument's operating power cord;

5. Discharge rod: Performs DC current-limited discharge or DC short-circuit discharge on the cable under test;

6. Fuse: Backup fuse for AC220V power supply system (8A fuse);

7. Auxiliary ground wire (2.5 meters) and grounding probe: If the on-site power supply is not grounded, a poor grounding status will be detected (red light). A grounding probe and auxiliary ground wire are needed to connect the safety grounding terminal of the power supply to the earth. This facilitates the measurement of the grounding status between the high-voltage output side and the power supply terminal.
