Product description The interturn short circuit of the generator rotor winding is a common fault in power system.When the fault occurs, the current of rotor and the temperature of windings will increase, that limits the output of the generator, even affects the normal operation of the generator. The interturn short circuit is usually determined by measuring the AC impedance and power loss of the generator rotor windings. The traditional measuring method is to use a lot of test instruments to measure after assembling in the field. This method which requries a lot of test equipment to form a measurement system has the shortcomings of cumbersome, time-consuming, tedious sorting data and lower measurement accuracy. With the continuous development of digital signal processing technology, the new microprocessor and algorithms are constantly emerging, we developed the generator rotor AC impedance tester based on digital signal processor (DSP). The instrument is with digital signal processing system for the hardware platform, give full play to the computation ability of the digital signal processor, making the calculating speed and accuracy of the instrument has been greatly improved, to ensure the normal operation of the power system.
