It is a system used to generate DC high-voltage pulse signals and generate electrical test signals with required parameters. It is often used as an impulse high-voltage power supply for fault detection of power cableswith voltage levels of 35kV and below.
 
It integrates DC high voltage source, energy storage capacitor and discharge ball gap. Using high-precision, high-stability special high-voltage electronic components and high-frequency high-voltage technology, the structure is simple, the weight is ultra-light, the operation is easy, safe and reliable.

1. High-voltage output (DC): Connect the high-voltage output line when DC withstands voltage.
2. High-voltage output (EMP): Connect the high-voltage output line when impact discharge occurs.
3. Safety ground: The ground of the instrument casing to prevent the instrument casing from being charged or people from getting electric shock.
4. Time setting: Set the discharge time interval.
5. Voltage meter: High-voltage output voltage indicator, used to display the voltage value in real time.
6. Power socket: Instrument working power supply, AC 220V±10%/50Hz±1Hz.
7. Fuse holder: AC 220V power supply system fuse installation place.
8. Power switch: "I gear" means turning on the AC 220V power supply to power the system;
"0 gear" means turning off the AC 220V power supply to power the system.
9. Overcurrent protection switch: Pressing the state indicates that the overcurrent protection function has started; when it pops up, it means that the instrument has triggered the overcurrent protection.
10. Start button/zero position indicator:
When the zero position indicator is on (yellow), it means it is in the zero position state. Press the start button to start the high voltage output;
When the zero position indicator is off, it means it is not in the zero position state. After turning the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, the zero position indicator will light up, and then press the start button to start the high voltage output.
11. Stop button/high voltage indicator: When the test is completed or an abnormality occurs, press this button to cut off the high voltage output. The high voltage indicator light indicates that the high voltage output has been started; the high voltage indicator light is off, indicating that the high voltage output has stopped.
12. Voltage adjustment knob: used to adjust the voltage; adjust the output high voltage clockwise from small to large to increase, and adjust the output high voltage counterclockwise from large to small to reduce.
13. Discharge button: In the high voltage stop state, press this button to manually discharge the internal stored electricity.
14. Amperemeter: Indicator of low voltage current measurement.
15. Sampling ground: The negative end of the pulse energy storage capacitor has a high voltage and must be reliably grounded. It is used for sampling when sampling waveforms in the high voltage flashover state of the cable fault tester. (Sampling without high-voltage flashover still requires reliable grounding).
16. High-voltage ground: also known as high-voltage tail, the internal components of the instrument are grounded.
