XHHV535-4TX portable/vehicle cable fault location system provides safe, efficient.
Very easy to use solution for quickly pre-locating and pinpointing various types of cable faults 0-35kV.
Typical end users include: Electric power operations departments, Utility companies, municipal power departments, Dedicated network operators, high voltage electrical contractors,Service companies, port authorities, mining, airports, petrochemical and paper companies.

The system has an intuitive user interface, simple operation, fully automatic measurement of fault distance, no need for user hands-on analysis, and a discharge energy of 2000J, which is particularly suitable for high-resistance fault detection.
This unit is equipped with wheels and is ideal for use on rough terrain. IP53 rating allows operation in wet environments.
The XHHV535-4TX can also be permanently installed on the vehicle (customization required).

Impulse generator
Surge voltage generators enable accurate location of high resistance, low resistance and intermittent faults on high, medium and low voltage cables.
Output voltage is continuously adjustable in the ranges 0 - 8 kV, 0 - 16 kV and 0 - 32 kV.
Discharging of high voltage capacitors into the faulty cable can be made continuously or cyclically via surge switch. When the instrument is switched off, the connected cables and the internal surge capacitors are automatically discharged separately from each other.

Cable fault pinpoint locator
The system equipped with accessories include a receiver, headphone, proble, A frame.
With these accessories, it can perform cable fault precise location and sheath fault location.
The cable fault locator uses the principles of vibration pickup and electromagnetic induction to determine the specific location of the cable fault point. A high-voltage pulse generator is used to cause flash over discharge at the fault point. Physical phenomena such as vibration waves, sound waves, and electromagnetic waves generated by the flash over discharge at the fault point are picked up by a special probe of the pointing instrument, amplified, processed, displayed, and output by the cable fault pointing instrument. The precise location of the fault point is determined by the tester's hearing and vision. That is, the task of accurately locating the cable fault point "directly above the cable and within the range of rough measurement" is completed.
